Indic to English Transliterator digg

Transliteration is the process of converting a word from one language (written script) to another while retaining its phonetic characteristics. This application lets you convert a word from any major Indian language to English. The currently supported languages are Hindi, Marathi, Sanskrit and Bengali.

The rest of this document will describe the installation and usage of the transliterator.

Download and Installation

Download Transliterator v0.3. Double click the installer under Windows to start the installation. Once installed, run transliterator and after the icon appears in the system tray, point your web browser to http://localhost:8000/ or http://127.0.0.1:8000/.

Usage

Read User manual or the Programmer Manual.

Hi,
I have been monitoring your win32 column for a long time and while i as searching your site i got into this page. Nice work. I installed your program and tried. It seems to be that it is a mini server like option. Hope you are listening at localhost port 8000 and giving the response html. I have not thought about this and this really gives me a many ideas in my head… still i have to figure out what all i can do with such option or how this is going to help me in using or creating any program related to this… I have to browser your install folder to see what you have done…

Besides… can i have references or links for creating programs like this . Basically i use sockets from win32 to for a wordreminder program which i have wrote and i have published in my site… so i am trying to dig your concept more to provide a user friendly word reminder program.

IT is still pending with some work but it works properly… a little is missing still which i am working on it currently…

anyway… if you could drop some links that could be nice… sorry i am writing a mail here instead of a comment… better you can delete this after reading it.

We have already corresponded once about win32 and its future publishes… i have a link back to your site as a reminder for me to check your site periodically to find new win32 stuff….

good work(s)…

Hi,
Would you like to start a discussion forum. oh better i can put like this… why dont you start a discussion forum in your site by being an author and responder for the users questions. I hope you are an expert in win32 and some of .net. I am asking this because it is better to ask experts in discussion forums instead of disturbing through their personal email. What do you think about this idea… I am just a beginner in win32 or i can say i dont know the options but i can accomplish my need mostly… or you can invite moderators and responders to your forum… and if it is so then i would be the person who would have flooded with too many queries… hehe… fine… let us c.
